Investigate Web Hosting

How many web hosting services are there? I don't think anybody knows. The number seems to be increasing by the minute.

They're popping up everywhere - in garages, basements, dog houses - everywhere.

I, for one, don't think there are enough facts about this industry readily available - at least, not compared to the quantity of misleading advertising you see everywhere.

Too many people are dissatisfied with the web hosting service they've paid for. And I've been part of that group. Perhaps you, or a friend or relative, are too. We've fallen prey to those who bombard us with misleading information and flat-out lies.

As I mentioned in the article, "Top Ten" Sites - Are They Honest?, 95% of the "Top Ten" lists I've found on the web lists companies with an unsatisfactory rating by the Better Business Bureau!

Better Business Bureau Rating For Omnis Network: "A" Top Recommended $5.95 Hosting
Better Business Bureau Rating For InMotion Hosting: "A" website hosting by InMotion Hosting
Better Business Bureau Rating for TechHosting: "A" Premium web hosting at affordable prices
Better Business Bureau Rating For Lunarpages Web Hosting: "A" (parent company is Add2Net) Lunarpages.com Web Hosting
Better Business Bureau Rating For WebHostingPad: "A"
(I use Lunarpages to host this site.)

Now here's some of the worst:
